Hi all,

here comes the second design study for the game that probably never will be
finished: three of the pigs walking on a hexagonal grid, just like in
Settlers2 ...

This just demonstrates the piggies' posability.

For more information please see thread of same name over at p.b.i.

Comments welcome

I couldn't see it.
Are you sure its standard mpg1?

I can open it in VirtualDub but the resolution is ...ehh... extremely
blocky.

Hi Hugo,

Well, I just loaded it back from the website and put it into my
QuickTimePlayer, and the info says ...

MPEG1 Video, 300 x 225
24 Bps
111 KB/sec

.... so this really SHOULD be mpg1, at least I don't know any better.

It's 300*225 Pixel, which is not that much worse than most other videos
posted here, and it has lots of antialias (WITHOUT jitter, of course), so
it really should NOT look extremely blocky. I don't know VirtualDub, can
it tell you what kind of animation you loaded ?

Sad you couldn't see it

Karl

Yes, it tells me the same information as you stated.

It seems I have to deactivate FFDshow for the movie to play (then it will
play alright in Windows Media Player)... I can't say if the problem lies
with FFDshow or your mpeg1 encoder... VirtualDub gives me the attached
image, in any case.

...But I saw your animation... Nice work! :)

I've been away from these newsgroups for a while ... mmm too long ...

Regards,
Hugo

Thank you.

There are still a few more pictures to post, but I'm very busy at the moment
with RealLife(TM) and the common cold that catches me every autumn ...

See you later

I catches you every time, It is spring here in Australia, and in spring, I
always get hay fever, just as bad as having a cold in autumn.
