I've incorporated comments made from my last post. Now I have a whole herd
of them. This clip shows one complete walk cycle.
A few disclaimers:
1) I know it looks like the ground isn't moving. This is due to the low res
clip. The ground is actually the only thing moving (I know that's cheating,
but it was easier for this test.) Unfortunately, I forgot to also move the
cloud layer along, so the shadows don't move, and it looks like the ground
isn't moving as a result.
2) All-Terrain Armored Transports probably aren't diesel powered and
squeaky, but I like the sound effect.
3) Please, no one mention the lack of footprints left in the snow ;)
Next - galloping ATATs! (kidding)

Thanks for the tip. My original idea was to have whichever corner of the
body that had the leg off the ground dip a little, but I realized that I'd
have to re-do the IK code, since right now the legs are only articulated
with two degrees of freedom. So, that restricts body motion to two degrees
of freedom as well (only up-down, front-back). It would look a lot more
natural, though, if I managed to work that in.
