Hi!

This is my recent POV-Ray project.
It's my first animation bigger than gifs.

Hopefully you can use this link, at least for a few days.
I have no place to put a 20 meg file,
and I'll have you know it's allready downsized...

I recommend VLC, and about a fistfull of popcorn. ;)

Very nice!
This is a very good start, the only thing that I found a bit confusing was
the blend-in shot switch. maybe it would work better if the camera was
moving slower while being blend into the previous shot.

Can you give some render statistic like the render time per frame?
I have rendered about 20000 frames (mostly tests) over the last few weeks. I
had to use 9 fast pc's networked together to get the render time workable.
(I hope I can post some of it soon)

jaap.

Very well done. I have been reading The Dark Is Rising sequence by Susan
Cooper, and this fits the mood exactly.

Thank you! And yeah, the blend was far from perfect.. Probably should have
used still images during that instead...

Render statistics? Hmm.. I've only been using my own single PC. It's a Intel
Celeron 2,4GHz with 256 MB DDR Ram. Fps is set to 25, wich makes 3000
renders/frames. It's originally made in 640*480 and Mpeg 2, one
frame/render took perhaps three or four minutes, depending.

20000 frames!? Should be interesting! I am looking forward to your post!
And... I wish I had 9 dedicated POV-pc's =).

Thank you very much. I was hoping to create this kind of mood!
The clip and the added text, hopefully, let's you create your own images in
your head of what is really in that tomb...
