I've probably spent about 50 hrs trying different methods, but I eventually
got this bugger to work properly. In the end I created a 10 component array
with about 4 times as many track points as frames, unioned each track
segment (3 sets of balls and cylinders) before rotating it in each of the
directions separately in the order of banking, pitch and bearing before
moving it to the desired location. Small changes in angle also had to be
made to the rails if the track was banked to keep the rails smooth.

Very nice!
How about doing another one, with the camera being inside the wagon,
like a passenger? Add some vibrations, etc., and you've got an even
cooler ride :)
