I see the point about bevelling. Of course, bevelling can still be done in
POV for mesh objects or bezier patches. I have not used it on this model,
since it is not built from a mesh.

There are plenty of POV primitives with smooth surfaces though, so I don't
understand what you mean there.

Yes. About 30% done, I think.
