I've done a test render using my MirrorFlare system (plus a box bouncing 
macro :-) ) to create a nice glow-like scene. No media was used in this 
scene (I tried but it had no noticeable difference) but radiosity was used. 
Suprisingly, it only took about 40 seconds per frame.

I don't think my mirror flare include file is ready for release yet. It's 
incompatible with orthographic and spherical cameras and it's quite awkward 
to use, but I'll try and get something useable up soon.
