On the quest for a realistic explosion that won't take a week to render.
  This one took two hours on my Sempron 2400 / 512 MB.

I couldn't see it as well which happens to me rather seldom. A google search
for the codec you used (4CC FMP4) arised that it's leading to problems very
often. I would suggest to use another codec. MPEG1 will lead to the biggest
audience.

	That's fully DiVX compatible. On windows, you can see it in one of
three ways:
 - Install the ffdshow codec then use your favorite media player;
 - Use avi4cc to change the reported codec to divx (if you have
installed the DiVX codec);
 - Play it with videolan (that solution should work also on MacOS X
and linux).

	But you're right, MPEG1 would be much more widely accepted.

Sure, but the MPEG1 was 1.3 MB...too big to post here.

What da ..!! You're blowing up my ship!

...mmm... after a closer inspection I see, it wasn't my ship. I was getting
worried there.

It seems you have some sort of particle system hidden underneath the fire.
It can be seen in the end. I think it should be more prominent.

Hugo Asm
