That's looking really good.
What approach did you settle for in the end then?
Did you get anywhere with finding anatomical data for the rest of the muscle 
groups?

I'm still struggling with muscles that need to follow a curved line to 
look good, like some muscles in the back, but I think I can manage those 
too :)

The muscle-system works almost the same way as in my previous animation, 
but I had to rewrite it, because I overwrote the previous version :)

The placement of the muscles is based on, of course, the location of the 
bones, keeping into account all the necessary (hey, I think I spelled it 
right this time!! :)) rotations, and...

still nothing for the abs, but I'm glad I found detailed 
muscle-by-muscle pictures of hands, arms, chest, neck, legs and feet :)
