This is a small robot I'm working on. Lots of parts are still missing, some
are yet to be scripted (like the neck, I want it to be flexible, but made of
parts, not just a simple tube). I'll also prepare macros to make animation
easy (instead of updated all three balls by hand, I could have a macro take
care of that, eh?).
Anyways, just wanted to give you gals and guys here a peek at what I'm
working on.
Regards,
Tim

Thanks! It's supposed to be the main character of my next short, so it
should be likeable. Guess I succeeded so far. ;-)

Hmm, neither mplayer, ffmpeg, nor Quicktime could play it. Bummer... :(

Huh?! But its a really simple MPEG Layer 1 animation made with TMpegEnc,
like I always do! I didn't even change any fancy settings, just used a
rather high bitrate to keep some of the detail. :-(

mplayer.exe? I never use that one. Anyway, when I try to use it, it plays it
but crashes...
Windows Media Player (old) (mplayer2.exe) plays it fine.
Windows Media Player (wmplayer.exe) plays it fine.
Media Player Classic (http://tinyurl.com/jiir) plays it fine.

No problem here: mplayer v1.0pre7-3.4.3 on a Mandriva 2005 box...

Looks very promising, cool motion with those balls. A macro would be easier
indeed I guess ;)

My mplayer ran it on the first click of Tim's attachment... <shrugs>

Hey, thanks! It's still in development, and I guess I'll show it once again
once the modelling is completed. Then there'll be a loooong time of
scripting stuff for this thing to animate it with ease.
And then some scenery. Lots'a objects. Lots'a testing...
*sigh*
But someday, I'll have a new short finished. :-)
