(Following on from my last post in povray.binaries.images)

Interesting... bead #0 seems slightly disjoint from the rest of the
figure... and the figure seems to constantly move in the opposite
direction to bead #0...

Bug, much? :-S

Oh well!

Introducing stupid bug #1:

Each bead is repelled by bead N-1. Beads are *not* repelled by any other
beads!!!

  * * *

Introducing stupid bug #2:

Rather than the magnitude of the repel force being
   adjust / distance^2
the force is *actually* computed as
   distance / adjust^2

  * * *

I am happy to report that with the elimination of these STUPID bugs, the
simulation now works a darn sight better! :-D

Expect another post shortly...

Andrew.

BTW... the clip was encoded using TMPGEnc in VBR mode, with
   Quality = 100%
   Max bitrate = 50,000 kbps
   Min bitrate = 0 kbps
As you can see, it produced a *tiny* output file. So... why does it look
only haft the spacial resolution? Is there some button I need to press?

Andrew.
