Nothing fancy or earth-shattering here. I just had the sudden urge to 3d-ize
the yin and yang symbol. Then, of course, I had to animate it to show its
anatomy.

Thanks. The camera is, in effect, orthographic, although technically it's
not, because I made the whole thing with Moray, which doesn't have the
orthographic camera option. So I faked it by putting the camera back at -350
with an angle of 0.75.

Thats a nice interpretation of ying and yang in 3d, i like it.

and it reminds me instantly of the following gif. i found it
on a webpage with webforum-avatars

That is really cool! There's a lot going on there all at once. I knew
someone else had to have done similar things before, but I have never seen
any examples.
There was an animation in the IRTC called The End of Good and Evil
(yinyang.mpg) by William de Beaumont,
http://www.irtc.org/anims/2004-01-15.html , but the yin-yang part of it is
flat.
