Hi Rune!
It's very impressive!
Can you repeat the render without moving the camera? I think that the
effect could get even better then...
How did you do the combination of the two animations? Are you using a
special program to colorize the red/blue animations?
Have you seen my Escher animation below? The 3 D effect is not so good
with the Pulfrich glasses so I would like to improve it using
anaglyphic separation.
You can see a anaglyphic still version of  the 'Cubic Space Division'
when you look in the binaries.images group...
Keep up your fine 3D work :-)

without stopping and flickering?

How you do that? Specifically the illusion of infinite
approach? My guess is that the menger sponge is
both expanding and rotating, but I still don't see how
you manage to make it smoothly grow as if we are
approaching an infinitely large object.
