When I click on the attachment icon (paper clip), now I see on just about
every anim that the options to view or save the mpg file are both greyed
out.  I cannot do anything.  Any pointers.

Not sure, but if you're on Outlook Express, try unchecking Tools ->
Options -> Security -> Do not allow attachments...
