So, the first test with the animated worm.
Nothing extraordinary, just a test if the
facial sections (mouth-region mostly) work
properly. The eyes will get better, perhaps
even a proper Iris, and the hat is still the
"old" mesh version, which requires refining
(as comments suggested in binaries.images).

The soundclip is from my Music Maker, with
no legal issues (those reading off-topic will
know what I'm talking about ;-).

In fact, all I wanted to do is post a little animation
just to show that I'm serious about this project
of mine... :-)

Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim!

That's really cool!

Would be nice if the pupils get bigger when the worm is shocked/afraid.

Keep up the good work,
Florian

Looks good Tim! When you work on the eyes, there's
alot of expression you'll be able to add. Probably will
animate the hat too, right?

Well, actually, the pupils get smaller, but that's
not obvious due to the camera movement. AFAIK
though, cartoon-eyes get smaller when they're
shocked/afraid, whereas they get bigger when
they're astonished.

Eyes will receive a lot of attention, as it'll
be, along with the mouth, the only thing
giving him an expression.

As for animating the hat: it depends on
how tight the hat is stuck to his head, and
if I decide that's it's okay for it to "not
stay in place" when he moves his head
too fast. I'll have to experiment with that
once the main model is finished and gets
to be animated to be moved around...
