I like it. It loops very smoothly. A good demonstration.

I've been watching it for about five minutes now, and that box still
doesn't fill up!
Very creative, I love the movements (they do accelrate, don't they?),
and I surely hope you will turn this into a longer animation which
eventually will make something out of that pieces of bent metal =)

Thanks, and yes they use the "S-curve" mode (accelarate and slow down, like
the 2nd half of a cosine period)

Thirst I will make the transportation arm more realistic with some sort of
grippers, and then I'll start on making a candle-holder out of the metal
(which will involve more bending, sawing, pasting and drilling).

It may take a while before the next version is ready, because my final exams
of the VWO (sort of Highschool) are next week.

It reminds me of a PCB tester I used many years ago. It did not bend the PCB's
but the rhythm is the same, hypnotic.
Good one :-}

I guess you're using Adobe Premiere for putting the frames together? When I
try the same, I somehow can't avoid the notorious black frame at the end of
the animation that shows whey you loop it.

Nowadays I use tmpgenc with png import capability and I'm completely happy!

No, i am not using Adobe Premiere. I use SSMM avi generator. Which can be
found at:

www.joern-thiemann.de/tools

It works very good, no problems with black frames or so.

Apache, I have the same problem when playing any mpeg file in Windows
Media Player 6.4, but with Media Player Classic it works fine, so I'm
guessing you're having some kind of media player software problem.

JWV, that animation is doing some nice progress, I especially like the
way the arm moves down a bit to grip the metal. Perhaps a texture
that'll show the rotation of the rollers, if there is any that is ;)

Thanks

I was thinking of that, but it would take me another 10 mins to do that, and
then there will be anthoter detail to do, and so on. So i thought, "It's
enough for version 2, the rest will come in version 3" (which is making good
progress)
