I guess I'll be interested. I've got a speedy
computer and a flatrate, so... Oh, and
I've got at least 50 GB free space, so
lets get to the "original" stuff... :-)

Regards,
Tim

If you have cycles to spare http://www.imp.org/ will be revving up the
renderfarm next week and we can use all the help we can get.

Uhh, I watched this thing for a minute or so and after closing
MediaPlayer the whole desktop seems to come out of the monitor. Weird
optical illusion :-)

But in spite of this: great animation....

Yeah, that's pretty annoying. It's not the animation, though - I promise! To
make sure, I made an animation that was twice as long by compiling all the
frames twice, and the transition is perfect. It's Bill Gates' fault!!!

Try "AVI Screensaver"
http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2409-1486219.html?tag=list
It looks good in full-screen mode, in my humble opinion.

That's realy nice but ... if you slow down animation to real time (one earth
cycle in 24 h) then you will see probably the slowest UFOs in the galaxy ;-)
