First of all this is the wrong group for posting such a question.  You
should either post in povray.animations or povray.unix probably.

Apart from that there is nothing special needed for distributing the
calculation of an animation over different machines, just render a subset
of frames on each of them.  See the documentation of the necessary
options.  If you want distributed render of the same scene you should have
a look at PVMPOV:

but, the pvmpov and patch to mpi-pov they are already installed and working
very well. I don't have a lot of knowledge on how to proceed to activate the
animation in POV, because it is not my area of performance, a lot I concern
to do demonstrations in lectures with my cluster  the "MultiPinguim"
