Good!
Maybe a tad less granularity in the thick smoke, very visible in the
frames about 9 sec. into the animation.

I'll try to do that.

I don't know about that. Changing that part now could mess up
everything... ;)

The comment of the thread - yeah I'll fix that. :)

Will do!

Hehe, thanks! :)

I think I'd rather fade it in as others suggest.

Thank you! :)

My particle system is far too simple to realistically simulate smoke, so
my goal is to just make it look realistic...

> I'm curious about what you're going to use it for.

I have no plans to use it in a longer animation. If I can clean up the
code enough I'll include it as a demo scene for my particle system.

Maybe you meant what object to use it for - well, I think I'll add a
cigarette and an ashtray after all.

Yes, the abrupt start. I'll have to fix that.

Doesn't that depend on the size of the cigarette? ;)

> Maybe the color could be a little more blue.

Oh, I thought I had made it very blue. I think I like the color as it is
now.

And if used in a larger scene, the smoke probably won't take up that
much of the screen space, so in real uses it might be faster.

Thank you, that was my goal. :)

Well, I never expected that I could make it totally believable. "Almost"
is good enough for me.

Thinner at the base maybe, but fatter at the top will increase render
time too much I think... :)

You're right, maybe a tad less granularily...
