Not very different from the past post: it is now longer, has a more violent
beginning and it has losses energy less quickly.

Looks good, though a little jaggy in the beginning
(edges/corners on the rope).
How 'bout building a little figurine out of strings?

Nice little demos. A while ago, I did some strings myself, though in pov code See
http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.animations/22251/ for an anim. Unlike
cloth and gel, strings are resonably fast in pov code, so if you want environment
interaction, don't be daunted by the speed issue. Good luck with it.

I heard the theme from Ren and Stimpy in my head when I saw it... :) Neat,
but I'm not sure which material would do something like that.
