Hey
Here's an anim of an image I posted in pov.images "Kinda Abstract".
The quality sucks and the frame rate is too fast but hey its my first
attempt...
If your video player allows you try pulling the frame rate down to about 15
fps.
mpegs apparently don't allow frame rates of lower than 24fps and other
encoders give huge files. :-(

that would look confusing with the number of spheres involved

I was going to have each sphere rotating "backwards" and on the
perpendicular axis with respect to the next sphere out but decided against
it because as you say, it would be too much for the eye to take in.
