I finally got the media in the ball to work and made a little animation with
the emitting media phased to the clock.

So am I :-D
Next problem... How would I confine one media to one part of the sphere,
another part of the media to another,etcetera...?

Use multiple medias in a single interior, or a density_map of varied
patterns for one type of media having different transformations.

Hmm. I'm not sure I understand- what I'm trying to do is create a sort of
mini-storm inside the ball with dark clouds on top, scattering rain in the
middle and some kind of object for the ground.

Well... all you need to do is use pre-declared densities with their own
specific density map, one for each of those things, and then use those in
the final (gradient y) density map. If you want to adjust on an example of
it I have I can post it.

Oh, now I get it- I think. Thank you.
