I would like some feedback on this animation. I have scaled the original
pattern down and added two additional different ones. Let me know which
pattern you like better, and which color scheme. It's supposed to be some
sort of pseudo-surreal energized static electric plasma charged thingamjig
(I already have that patent out on that one ;) ).

TIA

I like both the color and the pattern on the top one best.

I never really bought into the whole electricity thing. I always thought it
was more of a pseudo-surreal energized static electric plasma charged
thingamajig. Glad to see you have come around to my way of thinking :-)

I definitely like the first one best, but the second one might be a good
temporary state just before it explodes...

The middle one - though the top one might look better if it was speeded
up a little... Maybe the pattern from the middle one and the colour from the
top one...

I like the pattern & color from the top one, the speed of the middle one ( well,
maybe not quite 'that' fast) and the ambience of the bottom one. Overall the top
one would be best IMO especially if it were brighter and faster.

Unfortunately I like them all. Each one has its own 'feel' that would be
appropriate for different uses. I wonder what it would look like if you added
scattering media?

The top two seem to be the most realistic to my eyes. Hrm, know any stores
that sell those plasma globes? Hell, does the local high school have a Tesla
coil and a student willing to hold a lightbulb on it? Gives the same sort of
effect, just gives the student hot fingers.

Though the colour of the arcs will depend on what gas you have in the tube
