This is a little animation I made based on the 'Stargate' sequence of
CGI fame. The inner bit is just a disc/cylinder with a funny pigment
pattern and nomal waves in phase with the clock.

MPG-1 is the common courtesy for posting here.
I assume this was a gif. I wasn't able to see it on two different PC's: one shows a
broken image, the other a stationary unmoving gif.

I see. Do you know of any program that can convert from GIF or AVI to MPG?

Assuming you're an a MS operating system, have a look at
http://members.home.net/beyeler/bbmpeg.html
It will convert Avi to Mpeg (1 or 2, at your choice, with or without sound)
