This starts with the mirrors at 45 deg. and then they rotate out 10
degrees over the first half of the animation. Then they stay there long
enough for me to focus on the ring.

    It shows that there is a problem with the idea that 45 degrees is the
universal angle for stereo viewing.

    I have been working on stereo stuff so much lately that my eyes diverge
spontaneously while I am trying to do other things...
