I use Animation Shop Pro, part of the Paint Shop Pro package since version
5. It only does AVIs, GIF nd a couple of others. No MPEG (officially, but
you CAN fool it into saving mpegs that you've edited if you do it right -
click save, it'll tell you it doesn't support mpg format, select avi, then
cancel. Then click Save again and it'll save the mpeg anyway)

An undocumented and unintentional feature? Seems the AS 1.02 I have here,
with PSP 5.01, only uses gif or mng file output. Another reason to upgrade
it, I keep putting it off though.

AS 3 is the one that does it. Though I only tested AS2 for gifs, not AVI, so
it might. (and AS2 was only a shareware version, but AFAIK, Jasc doesn't
make crippleware, only nag/timerware)

Of course in POVray, you can always just run the clock backwards.

Videomach (http://www.gromada.com) can do it. You just need to go into
the video options section, and select Save Backwards under Frame Order.

Bye for now,
     Jamie.
