It should cycle properly, but it doesn't seem to in media player...

Cycles ok in MP6, I had so much trouble with MP7 I backed out...

The animation is good. Very good.

Since I always try to find fault with everything posted (what is wrong with
me)...

I notice a few "smoke rings" that seem less than realistic, and I would like
to see the center brighter.

Not too many faults after all :-)

Thanks :) Source is now in p.b.scene-files if anyone's interested.
Sorry it's 3.0 only at the moment. I'm in the process of trying to
get it looking good with media for 3.1

As you can see it's simply a collection of halos (16 in total in this
render) that grow from the centre of the frame to fill the frame
while at the same time fading out and rotating around a random axis.
When a halo reaches full size, it's completely transparent, so can
be moved back to the centre to complete the cycle.

It's really odd. I've just tried it again myself in MP6 and it
does indeed loop fine. When I tried it earlier, just before I
posted, it it always jumped as it wrapped. Weird.

Perhaps a different random seed might sort that :-) I'm not
waiting another 7 hours to find out though ;)

Kinda greenish over here. Cycles nicely in MediaPlayer 6.4. Nice work! :)
