That's pretty original, nice! Well, I had to view it several times to really
catch the laser.. I'd like to see this animation on a darker background (the
plane) and a stronger laser - that actually looks like 'light'.. And a bit
bigger resolution.. But then I'll probably save the anim to my personal
"hall of fame" !  ;o)

Photons and media is much slower than using trace to place a few cylinders. I 
tried that approach a while ago but couldn't stand the render times.
