Ok, in the next animations he'll be blinking for every second step he takes!
(Has to be that way.)

Ok.

Which kind of race? A "who will first post a successful running animation"
race? :-)

I badly need some reference animation (cyclic) of a human walking, because
I'm not sure exactly how it's supposed to look...

I have no knowledge of any references on the subject. You are doing
quite good as is. Grab the movies "Switch" and one with the guy from the
"Mrs Robinson" and some Quantum Leap episodes.

The difference is women's center of gravity is much lower than men's
(hips, rump, thighs -- half the reasons we look) so they naturally walk
different. And we perceive the "waist" to be different on each but that
has nothing to do with where the pelvic bone is in relation to the body.

I can't tell you how to do it but think about it a while. It is mostly
with how the torso shifts with walking and from where it shifts.

The moment the foot leaves the floor it should be more stretched. Have a
look at http://web.inter.nl.net/users/anima/chronoph/motion/index.htm ,
also for ideas what to do with AL.

Why?

He's an alien, so who says he has to walk like a human?

Bye for now,
     Jamie.
