Hmmm, I wonder why something like that is so big in mpeg. It seems to me
that it'd be pretty easy to compress. Or don't I understand mpeg?

Bink Video. A truecolour version of Smacker, which was a video
compression system mainly used in games on the PC. There's a version of
the player available for Windows 9x, NT and MacOS.
