AL is still no where near finished, but I was dying to try out the IK
animation system I had made, so I made this cyclic animation with AL
walking.
Obviously there's still some bugs that need to be fixed (flickering arm
movements, gap in boots), but besides that I think myself that it looks
promising... :-)
As always, feedback is most welcome!

Wait a minute! I suddenly realize my disappointment in not seeing this
"alien" character in an "Alien Invasion" IRTC round!
Characterization is cool.
Elbow jerks a bit: is it due to the IK?
Foot slips at end of cycle. This is perhaps biggest defect.

Yeah, but I just don't feel ready to participate in the IRTC yet...

Thanks!

Yes, some way or another.

I noticed that. I think it's just a spline segment that is not 100% linear;
it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.
Greetings,

So far, I haven't been able to find a good spline-based solution for the motion
of my foot, as you appear here to have found as well: either the foot moves in
a perfectly straight triangle (my case) or it behaves strangely in the
transition (your case, my earlier cases).
