I made a little piece of code that generates a surface of smooth triangles
(400 in this case). Nothing special, but with its colorful and special
morphing shape it looks quite interesting I think. It makes me think of a
screensaver...

Yep, except it doesn't have the usual bounce off the edges thing going for
it  ;-)
Wonder if triangles have feeling, if so this would be painful I think.
Might be best if it were filling the view instead of within it, or maybe you
weren't thinking of making this as a screen saver to begin with.

techniques you learned?  (not that raytracing ever has to be more than

I don't think so. The reason is that I really didn't use a "technique". I
simply placed a bunch of smooth triangles in a certain way using a while
loop. Nothing special.
