Three years ago i made this movie, i still think its pretty good.
Many of you have been frustrated trying to download such a large
file from my site (which is on a 64Kb frame relay line)
So chrisc put it out on www.povray.org for me.

Going to see if MS Media Player 7 beta will accept the D/L and play it, I just
got it a few days ago and this will be the first major d/l. Will let you know
what I think of it later on.

Whoa, sorry, I almost forgot to reply back here again. Seen it and it was fun to
watch. I didn't
realize the camera was supposed to be a kid until the second time through even with
the title to
figure that out with.
36 hours to create sure doesn't seem too bad for such a lengthy animation.

7 CPUs (5 boxen) and a program to distribute render requests sure helped.

Oh, and a custom build of povdos that groked Fireplace.inc (9 chars) and didn't need
any UI :)
My favorite part is the smoke bubbles. They look cool and they were fun to make since
there are (were)
no arrays, so each bubble always exists and its properties are determined by the
clock.
I don't often get to use zen programming: "be the bubble" :)
