This is an animation I am quite satisfied with. The quality is a bit poor,
but I had to keep the size down. Its only a planar map with emitting
crackle-media filled in inside a box. Used megapovs function-feature to
displace the media inside the box with periodic functions (duh...). I was
originally trying to make some kind of fire, but this ain't so bad,
either...

Many thanks to TonyB for his tips on emitting media!

[Media is lovely, but the render time is awful. I just used plain "method 3"
here. Anyone got ideas on how to optimize that?]

Simen.

Hey, that looks like water with bubbles on top. Cool!

Erm.. Really? Are you referring to the waving motion or .... _what_?

In p.b.i. I asked how you made MediaGames2, and you answered a lot of stuff
I didn't understand at once but after a while... See...

Yeah, just use method 2 instead :-)
Very neat animation. The bubbles comment made me realize that it does
look like foam on top of water. Only have to consider this a cubical section
out of a larger "ocean" or some such thing.

Yes, the wavy motion gives it a liquid look.

Oh, I was in a hurry. That was just a quick summary. I really should put out
the source code. I'm working on MediaGames 3: Fire and Ice. I'll put both
out then.

It looks like the inside of someone's brain.
A bunch of nerve cells floating in water.
