I'm in the process of updating some of my older anim's. This is a test anim
of the stargate mechanism from my animation "Exit to Realspace". There's no
stargate it self (the new model has yet to be built :-) just the effects as
a spaceship passes through it.

The arcs of lightning are too regular-try having them move along the
ring randomly and change direction.

that looks really cool
when your finished, make sure you render a nice long anim, galaxy macro and
a lensflare or 2
30fps for about 3 mins would be just so damn cool :))))
(listing for the *groan*)

The arcs of lightning start from fixed points on the stargate (not yet
"built") and arc to the nearest point on the spaceship.
