I was 12 when I last read Ender's game and I'm 26 now, so my memory is a
little fuzzy about how exactly that weapon worked.  Thanks for the refresh.

The idea about making the planet dissintegrate is a good one, but I'm not
sure if I want to take the destruction that far. :)

Excuse the delayed follow-up (only a mere three and a half months :) but 
the Larry Niven book that was mentioned is 'World Of Ptavvs', part of his 
Known Space series of books, written in 1966, ISBN 0 7088 8013 4

(Guess who'd been reading through his Niven books again and had the book 
next to his computer? :)

Oh, and the reason for the delay is that I'm slowly working my way 
backwards through this particular NG.
