ok here is my animation of what one was a nice sphere spinning high
speed and then it went up and exploded and made the shape of the
explosion we see here. see my little physics lesson in p.b.i

Fun. Too bad we can't see the original object. If the object were
spinning, wouldn't the debris move tangential to the "suface" than
directly away from it? Seems artistically what it should do.
