Granular (not the "in" word these days).  Must be that jitter was left on
since no 'crand' was used in the original finish.  Or perhaps it's due to
the small scale normal or something?
It even has the appearence of rotating in the opposite direction on top.
This is the first I had seen of the texture, it looks somewhat like aluminum
oxide to me.
