I am writing a macro that let's an object slide on an arbitrary surface
according to a gravitation field. I use megapov's trace function to
calculate the moving on the surface.

I intend to enhance it with features like friction, rolling, flying away
from the surface, bouncing...
I will release the macro code when I have cleaned it up a bit. Here is a
first animation made with it.

Amazing how it never looses any energy... :) Looks like it will be useful!
Keep it up!

Wow that's neat, sounds like it will be very useful when finished! Right now
it looks like it is sliding on a super Teflon surface;-)

Looks nice! :)

I've thought about doing something similar sometime, as it's somewhat
similar to how the particles in my particle system behave, so I already have
something to work from. It won't be anytime soon though...

Good work! What integration scheme for the movement are you using?
