Fixed in the next beta (I actually already reported this in another
group, but here's to completeness.)

Also, job000188 has been fixed in the next beta, but I didn't see
that one in your list, so it never existed. :)

None of the bugs reported on this newsgroup seem to have ever been
identified as job000188. Sometimes job numbers get implemented without
ever being associated with a reported bug.

  I think it had something to do with the combination of PPM output and
hf_gray_16 giving a bad result.

Right.  I think it wasn't actually reported on this newsgroup, since I 
found it while discussing PPM-ish things in some other group and just 
added it to the bug-tracking system myself.  I wasn't trying to make a 
jab or a point or anything, I was just having a little fun.
