Hello again...
Linux Beta 25, home compile for amd64 (x86_64) on Gentoo, single core.
Random (yet another race condition ?) "suspend" when rendering the
allscene.sh with new povray (scenes from 3.6).
The preview window is black, and until the mouse get over the window,
rendering seems to be halted. When the mouse event (I do not remember if
clicking was needed) happens, all at once the rendered picture is
displayed.
Happened twice this evening. (yes, only twice for the whole set of
scenes).
I believe it might stop animation rendering in any frame (which would be
a shame for batch rendering).
command run was with -h foo.html all log -o `pwd`
log.txt is 42022 lines long (included a fprintf about mutex/lock in
vfesession)

Le Tue, 04 Mar 2008 18:47:44 -0500, Le Forgeron a modifié des petits
morceaux de l'univers pour nous faire lire :
On the same kind of issue... but different, sort of.
Using a Quad-core Xeon (4x1.6GHz, 2GB of ram, running Linux redhat ES 5,
home compilation of beta 25)... sometimes (probably the same kind of race
condition), rendering allscene.sh just freeze forever (remote X server/
display) at random (killing the process and restarting does not
reproduce...)
Even moving the mouse and clicking on the black display do not change
anything.
