It seems that the pixel rate counter (PPS/PPM/PPH in the status bar) is 
based off of the number of pixels rendered of the current frame divided by 
the total amount of time spent on the whole animation.  This gives the 
effect of dividing the true pixels per second by the current frame number. 
I believe that the pixel rate should the number of rendered pixels in the 
current frame divided by time taken in current frame or it should be the 
total number of pixels rendered in the entire animation over the total time 
taken.
