When rendering a file, on completion there appears this message:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your output file has been written to the following location:

.....

Press F1 to learn more about how to control where files are written.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

When I press F1 or click OK, nothing happens (other similar messages run
without problems).

When I tried to copy something in the Messages window by clicking and
dragging, the following message appears:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You may use the Edit menu to copy the contents of this message pane to
the clipboard

Press Help to learn how to direct the POV-Ray text output streams to a file
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

-The points at the end of each sentence are missing (other messages have
this point).

-When you click Help, the help file appears, but it starts with the
default starting page. At the left, the Index bar is selected and in the
Search field there is searched for "Text Streams". The "Text Menu" -
"Sub-Menus" item is marked, 4 items above there is an entry "text" -
"streams" which seems to be the one this message should call.

thanks for the report. this is something I didn't have a chance to fix
before releasing the RC. it will be fixed prior to final release.
