Thank you, Thorsten. This is good enough for me. I know that you guys
have your hands full, both with development and bugfixes, and that you

I will be quite happy to watch for an official post in the news groups
when POV-Ray 3.5 (non-beta) is released. I know that a specific release
date has not been mentioned, but the fact that the latest 3.5 betas are
now called 'release candidates' indicates that the end is in sight. I
also know that the POV-Team will make an announcement when v3.5 is
ready.

Please keep up the good work!

hahaha. i'm glad you asked, alan. i was kinda wondering
too. since i'm pretty much a newbie and don't have a lot
of time to spend with it, downloading a new beta every
week is just not practical for me. so i'm still hanging with
3.1.

however, i was hesitant about asking because i didn't want
to imply impatience and, of course, i assumed the answer
would be just the one you got. ;-) the design team has been
just incredible in this intense development cycle. i'd have
to say that i am amazed at the high level of scrutiny and beta
testing the software has received.

totally hot and steamy.
