Well, you can complain to Microsoft; they abandoned enhancing or fixing their
old help system (which is FULL of bugs) many years ago. HTML Help is their
'official' help system now, and it depends on IE ...

So, really, we have no choice (using the old help format for any sort of
sophisticated help is just too painful, unless you have an expensive add-
on toolkit of some sort, and even then, it's not crash-hot).

sure ... I didn't invent it myself, I saw it somewhere sometime and it just stuck
in my mind.
