If the "about POV-Ray for windows" box is open, POV disappears from the tabbing
(i.e. you can't alt-tab to it).

3.5.beta9 win2000 p3 733

Well, fine, but us 2000 users are having to put up with this truly appalling bug
;)

Dunno why I posted this bug report - it pretty much falls into the "who cares?"
catagory...

there is always possibility it is connected with something general for dialogs
and it made POV useless when other dialogs are opened in background

This is actually a Microsoft 'feature'. When the about box is showing, it is the
active window in POV-Ray. It does not have a title bar or caption. With some
versions of Windows, if an application's active window does not have a title bar,
Microsoft removes it from the alt-tab list. There's not much I can do about it.

Of no consolation but it's okay in Windows Xp too (plus a preview of the ap
being tabbed to, new thing for me anyway).

heh - thought it would be something like this. Modal dialogues and similiar
seem to be an endless source of confusion.
