A good while ago I've decided to create an animation for a song, a song of many
similes in its lyrics. I imagined every simile as a different scene of an
animation. I've also decided not to use interactive modelling software, so I
wrote POV-Ray programs for each scene.
Finally, it is done:

It took many months. Sometimes a few weeks passed without a line of code,
because of other activities (and, of course, work) and thinking, too. Even
though I've created simple POV-Ray programs before, there were many new fields
to learn, as in POV-Ray as well as about the things I wanted to modell in these
scenes.

Strangely enough, a friend of mine just mentioned this song to me on New
Year's Eve.

Excellent work. I have to say it has the exact same look and feel as a "Rusty"
video. Have you seen any of them?

Thank you! Now I searched for Rusty and found it as the robot in IRTC
animations. I haven't seen them before, but it was a fun now to watch them. :-)

Terrific work! I especially like first few scenes that seem
to blend into each other preserving the main shape. Some of the
later cuts appear a bit more forced.

Thanks! Yes, while there were lines I could easily approach the same way, there
were lines I had hard time to link to, though I had to, to make the animation
complete.
