Hi,
i've a little question concerning a kind of program which works as spline
generator. Is there something available like that, but with some kind of
graphical interface , where i can set the points via mouse and a preview
function, that i can see the spline in 3D before saving them ? Somehow it's
really a time consuming process to define a spline on a sheet of paper and
then type the coordinates to PovRay. I need a big bunch of different camera
splines for my scene, but i think it will take me some month to define them
by hand.
Thanks for Your a fast answer, have fun, Shu.

Some years ago, there was SpilinEditor, a freeware made by Alessandro
Falappa.
http://www.flashnet.it/users/fn027571/spil/main.html
The Main Window of Splineditor is divided in two: the left one is the 2D
Edit window the right one is the 3D Preview window, where you can have a 3D
shaded preview (via OpenGL library) of your spline.
When your spline is done, you can export it to povray.
______________
Beside that, there is a newer projet of spline editor, developed by Florian
Brucker, for QTPov Editor.
It is still in developpement
Here, on the Qtpov forum, you can have some news and screenshots about it.

Hi Vincent, thanks for the link, it was exactly what i was looking for, even
when i do not have a 3rd dimension there it's no problem, i can find y
values by mayself.

Let's hope the splineeditor will be finished soon. The first insights into
it look really good. Good Luck Florian.
Bye, Shu, and thanks again.
