Thanks for advices, but I forgot to say a thing: I use Linux, not Windows.
I'm trying to convert that PNG to MPEG/AVI with Kurumin (a brazilian port
from Debian)
Thanks

The only true media player for linux, ie. mplayer, should be able to
do what you want (afaik it can create an avi from image files).

mencoder, included with mplayer, can do this. However, I couldn't get it
to use PNGs correctly, I had to use TGA. And it's annoyingly complicated
and poorly documented.
Probably the easiest way is to use ImageMagick convert, but it doesn't
give you any control over the encoding (at least not that I've found).

Have you tried using mpeg2encode? that's what I've used in the past
to create animations.

Thanks for all. mencode resolved my problem!

It does, and works well, although there are lots more knobs and switches
than I've bothered to really figure out.

Cid,
Presuming you've tested under multiple players, could you post the
command line (and version of mplayer) that you used?
My attempts w/mencoder played fine in mplayer but the colors were
completely mucked up when viewing in some other players.
Thanks!

You can find it at ftp://ftp.mpeg.org/pub/mpeg/mssg
I used gimp to generate the config file for it. check out povray.unix.
There was a discussion I was involved in dated 01/12/02 concerning some
problems I had with it
Good luck!
David
