Judging by your next post here at p.a., you might want to try newsgroups:
alt.graphics.bryce , alt.binaries.3d.poser , alt.binaries.3d.bryce , and
alt.3d.studio
Those are some I found just now with a quick look around.
Also, you might be able to start up some discussions here, at
povray.tools.poser , if you also use POV-Ray. Lacking anything to do with
POV won't bode well anyplace else except the povray.off-topic group, just so
you understand how things work here at the povray newsgroups.
In fact, I better tell you about reading the guidelines at
povray.announce.frequently-asked-questions since you're obviously new here.
That way if you do post more messages you'll have that done to try and help
you for these newsgroups.

Hi there. This is what I replied back to your e-mail question:
I use Outlook Express too. To get different news servers added you'll need
to go into the Tools menu, select Accounts... then News section. However,
for a list of newsgroups in your currently selected server (if already set
up) you can select Newsgroups... in the Tools menu.
There is a Add button at top-right. You enter your info there and the news
server to use. For POV its news.povray.org, but for others like the "alt"
groups you'll need to go through some other server. For example, I use my
ISP's called news.charter.net, your ISP might have its own server or you
could try searching for a free one for the group(s) your interested in at:
http://freenews.maxbaud.net/
Hopefully this is of help to you.
