What are you using to move the camera in
your animations? I've been looking around at
the various spline functions and include files
and would appreciate a recommend. What
should I use? I need to do some fly-throughs
and other dolly/truck camera moves.

I'm assuming you're using POV-Ray 3.5.

It really depends on what exactly you want to do. You could use one spline
for location and another for look_at, and possible yet more for angle, sky
and what else you might need. Cubic spline gives smooth movements.

If you want the camera to look forward in the direction it's moving, then
you could have a look at this demo scene...
scenes\animations\splinefollow\splinefollow.pov
...and render with the first person view settings.

If you give more details you might get more specific answers. :)

Hi Rune,

Thanks, but I think I found what I was looking for.
Sorry I didn't give more details, not sure what else
to say other than I'd like to be able to use the camera
like they do in the movies. But it seems that the
includes by Chris Colfax should get me started.

I'm using 3.1g or maybe MegaPov, haven't made
up my mind yet, it depends on what I need to do.
I haven't tried 3.5 yet.
